William K. Seasholtz – Obituary

William K. Seasholtz, 88, of Castanea passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at his home.

Born August 12, 1932 in Lock Haven, he was a son of the late Wilson and Verna (Yost) Seasholtz.

After graduating from Lock Haven High School, Bill served in the United States Air Force for four years.

In April 1956, he married the former Catherine A. Mincer with whom he shared 64 years of marriage.

Bill was employed by Piper Aircraft for 28 years.

He was a longtime member of St. Luke’s United Church of Christ as well as Pop Pop’s Clan Hunting Club.

Bill enjoyed spending time on the river in his pontoon boat.  Most of all, though, Bill loved his family, including Cookie, his dog.

In addition to his wife, Catherine Seasholtz, he is survived by two children: Lisa “Lisie” (Jesse, Sr. “Mark”) Glossner and Mark “Boo Bear” (Brooke “Brooke Trout”) Seasholtz; four grandchildren: Jessica “Jessie Cat” Seasholtz, Erin “Princess” Seasholtz, Jesse “Jesse Neal Glossner, Jr.” Seasholtz, Jr. and Cassie “Baby” Glossner; and a great granddaughter, Paige Glossner.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

Private services will be held at the convenience of his family.

Memorial contributions in Bill’s name may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association or Clinton County S.P.C.A. through the funeral home.
