20th Annual Kettle Creek Music Festival Wraps Up Today

KETTLE CREEK – The 20th annual Kettle Creek Music Fest wraps up today at Quiet Oaks campgrounds. This popular event raises thousands of dollars for veterans  and other non-profit groups each year. Since 2013 when reorganized, Kettle Creek Music Festival has donated more than $41,299.00  to local fire, ambulance, boy scouts, and military veteran support foundations.  More details on the event can be found at www.kcmusicfest.com.

This year a touching, one-of-a-kind oil painting titled ‘Final Farewell’ done by well-known wildlife artist Ken Hunter in memory of fallen heroes is being auctioned off as a special, KCMF 20th anniversary fundraiser (current bid is $900). The year-long auction comes to a close tomorrow at the Festival. Monies raised from this special auction will support two veterans/military nonprofits that the Music Festival has long supported — the Hunts for Healing and KEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve.
