Mid-State COVID-19 Cases: Clinton to 51, Centre to 147, Lyco to 160
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Monday update, confirmed as of 12 p.m., May 25, that there are an additional 473 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 68,186. The department also reported a new death total of 5,139, an increase of 15 from Sunday.
Clinton County cases moved up one to 51, Centre County up one to 147 and Lycoming County up to 160. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 34; Cameron, 2; Potter, 4; and Union, 54.
There are 334,928 people who have tested negative statewide to date. The state Health Department listing said of state residents afflicted with the virus, 61 percent of them have recovered. That number of tests is 531 in Clinton County.
