Mid-State COVID-19 Cases: Clinton to 37; Centre County to 117; Lyco to 109
HARRISBURG – The Pennsylvania Department of Health, in its Friday update, confirmed as of 12:00 p.m., May 8, that there are an additional 1,323 positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 54,238. The department also reported a new death total of 3,616, an increase of 200 from Thursday.
Clinton County cases moved up two to 37, Lycoming up 10 to 109 and Centre County up one to 117. Other counties adjoining Clinton: Clearfield, 24; Cameron, 2; Potter, 4; and Union, at 40.
There are 216,231 people who have tested negative statewide to date. That number is 316 in Clinton County.
