City Sidewalks, Busy Sidewalks

LOCK HAVEN – Monday afternoon saw the start of the busy holiday season in downtown Lock Haven. City crews were observed stringing the now iconic illuminated snowflakes across Main Street and up-righting a 25′ donated pine Christmas Tree.
Contacted by The Record/the record-online, Kasey Campbell, Director of Community Life for the City of Lock Haven could only comment that the tree was donated by “Santa and His Helpers.”
“We are very grateful for the tree donation, and excited to have another beautiful Christmas tree gracing Triangle Park in the downtown.” “It will be well lit,” Kasey added, “and will make a wonderful colorful addition to the downtown.”
The public works team was seen out and about throughout the city Monday, working tirelessly to get the holiday spirit going in the downtown area.
The Christmas Tree in Triangle Park will be lit on Saturday, Nov. 30 immediately following the Haven Holidays parade.
