Miss North Penn-Mansfield 2019 Foliage Queen

FARWELL – The 71st Flaming Foliage Festival is in the books and a Northern Tier high school senior is the 2019 festival queen. ·

Miss North Penn-Mansfield, Patelin Nowak (pictured center), is the 2019 Flaming Foliage Queen, crowned Sunday afternoon before a large and appreciative audience at Bucktail High School.

Patelin also received the FFF Judges Memorial Award for Community Service. Pictured, from left, are Alex McWilliams, escort to Miss Montoursville, who received the Alex Rauch Memorial Award, which also recognizes community service. He was also recognized as Mr. Congeniality; Miss Loyalsock Elisa DiNicola, named Miss Photogenic; second runner-up to the Queen, Natalie Charnego representing Jersey Shore High School; Patelin; first runner-up Hanna Taylor, Miss Coudersport; and Laura Ulrich, Miss Montgomery, who was voted by her peers as Miss Congeniality.

It was a picture-perfect weekend in Western Clinton County.

Patelin, this year’s queen, resides in Blossburg and is the daughter of Julie and Brian Nowak. She plans to attend college for a dual major in business and education.
