Robert E. “Bob” Hess – Obituary
Robert E. “Bob” Hess, 69, a resident of the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, formerly of Lock Haven died April 26, 2019 at UPMC, Altoona, PA . Born October 5, 1949 in Renovo, PA he was the son of the late Franklin E. and Betty Marie Gaines Hess. Bob was a 1968 graduate of the Bucktail High School and had attended Penn Tech. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving in the U. S. Air Force. He had attended Echo Hope Assembly of God Church, Mill Hall.
Bob also enjoyed reading his Bible, travelling, and meals at the Salvation Army, Lock Haven, PA.
He had worked at Berwick Forge & Fabricating, Rishel Furniture , Driftwood Wireworks and Renovo Borough.
He is survived by his special friend, Wendy Peck, Lock Haven, PA and her daughter, Ashley E. Jones.
A funeral service honoring the life of Robert E. “Bob” Hess will be held Thursday, May 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mil Hall, PA with Capt. Daniel Johnson officiating. Interment, North Bend Cemetery, North Bend, PA
Friends will be received in the funeral home from 12:00 noon until time of services.
