Sears Flemington Store Closing
FLEMINGTON ā The locally-owned Sears store on High Street in Flemington Monday announced a store closing sale.
Local management said they could not comment beyond the closing announcement but did say a closing sale would be ongoing for four to five weeks. The Sears store has been at its present location for the past 12 years. Previously it had been in the Clinton Plaza off Walnut Street in Lock Haven.
Many corporate-owned Sears stores across the country have been closed in recent years as the parent company has struggled financially.
Therecord-online has learned that another tenant has been secured for the High Street storefront but its name has not yet been revealed.
