Bucks Cruise to 49-32 Win over Benton
FARWELL – The Bucks jumped out to a 17-6 first quarter lead over visiting Benton and never looked back as they rolled to a 49-32 win.
Bucktail had a very solid 30-10 lead at the break and came out of the locker room to almost double up on the Tigers 15-8 in the third quarter. Benton would outscore the Buck reserves 14-4 in the fourth quarter, though the hosts prevailed for the final 49-32 tally.
Gabriel Conway led the Bucks with 14 points and an 8-10 effort from the penalty stripe. Devin Serafini had 8 points while Gavin Becker and Alex Intallura scored 6 points each. Zachary Pick added 6 points with Richard Perry scoring 5. Dylan Cross, Ty Snyder and Darrin Bruno all score 2 points each for Bucktail.
The win balances the scales for Bucktail to 4-4 on the season.
Next up for the Bucks is another home game on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 when they will host Neumann Regional Academy.
