Wildcat Basketball Clinic Featuring NBA Coach Toppert
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain Basketball is hosting Cody Toppert, Assistant Coach and Director of Player Development of the Phoenix Suns, for a clinic on Saturday, August 4th. The clinic is open to boys and girls of any school in grades 7-12.
The clinic will run in two sessions: 9 a.m. – noon for all 7th – 8th grade players and 1 – 4 p.m. for all 9th-12th grade players. Cost is $75 and the clinic will be held at Central Mountain Middle School. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. the day of the clinic. Pre-registration is preferred.
Cody Toppert has worked with many well-known players at the NBA level and played a part with the organization selecting the No. 1 overall pick. He played at Cornell University and spent several years playing professionally overseas and in the NBA G-League before turning his career to training and coaching. He is rising in the coaching profession and has developed some of the highest scoring offenses during his time coaching in the G-League.
The program is proud to bring this opportunity to our local athletes. The clinic will provide players with drills and areas to develop their game for the winter. It is a great way to close out the summer before fall sports season begins, focusing on skills, and return to respective programs as better players for the coming season.
