Stover & Stotler Earn All-Region Baseball Honors
Cayden Stover (First Team) and Nick Stotler (Second Team) have both earned 2018 American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region honors.
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Cayden Stover (Beech Creek, Pa./Chesapeake College) and Nick Stotler (Pittsburgh/Coker College) of the Lock Haven University baseball team have earned 2018 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division II All-Region honors. Stover (Sr.) earned Atlantic Region First Team honors at second base while Stotler (R-Jr.) earned Second Team honors in the outfield.
Both players were a huge reason behind the Bald Eagles 2018 success. The two were also 2018 All-Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) selections.
Stover did it all for Lock Haven, contributing at the plate, on the base pads and defensively. He hit .391 with 44 runs scored, 29 RBIs and 11 doubles, while fielding .922 in 40 games played. Stover stole 17 bases (17 of 20).
Stotler hit a team-best .393 with seven home runs, 37 RBIs, 10 doubles and 43 runs scored. He was also 11 for 14 on stolen base attempts and registered a .607 slugging percentage.
