Fifth Inning Rally Seals Win for Wildcats










MILL HALL – With the game knotted at 2-2 after four innings, Central Mountain mounted an offensive onslaught scoring seven runs in the bottom of the fifth to earn a 9-2 victory over visiting Punxatawney.
Zach Skrtich struck out eight batters in the first four innings while Kenny Heverly added five more Ks in relief. The pitching duo gave up a total of five hits on the day.
The wildcats garnered ten hits with Clayton Butler driving in three runs with Toner Corl adding an RBI.
