CM Golf Places Third at Sectionals, Qualify for District Round
ALTOONA – Central Mountain kept pace with the field and claimed a third place finish in the District 6 Sectional Round held at Sinking Valley Counry Club.
The Wildcats posted a team score of 358 just behind State College with 343 and Altoona at 346. Hollidaysburg came in fourth with 364. The effort puts CM in the team district finals to be played Wednesday and Thursday this week.
Matt Storeman led the Wildcats with 83 strokes while Logan Fisher shot a 90. Tyler Adair had 91 and Jason Floruss and Zach Somers each had 94. Chase Confer competed as an individual and scored 108.
Storeman also qualified to participate in the D6 individual tournament.
