FARWELL – If you missed last Thursday Night at Bucktail High School you missed a spectacular event. High School Senior Charlie Lefort’s Senior Project was to bring in the 7 Project. The Project consisted of an assembly in the afternoon during school hours where the 7 Team dealt with issues relevant to the youth such as drugs, bullying and making intelligent choices.

The students are then invited back to a night event sponsored by the Bucktail Bible Club and local churches. At the night event many of the team shared personal testimonies of how God has helped them and changed their lives. The team consisted of the Youth Alive Director for Pennsylvania and Delaware, Steve McGranahan the World’ Strongest Redneck, Zach Wenrich, Professional Skate Boarder and a host of High School interns.

The Junior High and Senior High Students attended the assembly and the students and public were invited back to the night event. The Night event featured many give-a-ways, free pizza, drinks and cookies. The crowd enjoyed games and competition while waiting for the event to begin. Roughly 243 people turned out for the event. This was the best attended night event in 7 Project history based upon the percentage of students attending the assembly.

Special thanks go out to Principal Justin Evey, and the teachers at Bucktail for their support. Charlie Lefort began to dream of bringing in this project about 3 years ago when he committed to becoming a Campus Missionary. His desire was not just to have a great senior project but one that would impact and change the lives of fellow students and the community. He was challenged to raise thousands of dollars to bring an event of this caliber to Renovo.

As a follow up to the event those who may be interested in learning more about having a relationship with Christ are encouraged to attend the Follow Meeting at
