Genealogical Society To Hold Beginning Genealogy Class
LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Genealogical Society will hold a Beginning Genealogy Class on three Saturdays in late Spring to help any interested person who is interested in tracing their family history but doesn’t know where to start
Each class will focus on a different theme, from how to organize information, to how to research locally, and how to use Internet and foreign resources to accurately trace one’s family tree.
The class is open to all, and will be held in three sessions on Saturday, April 23, Saturday, May 7, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the Ross Library in Lock Haven, in the Rebecca Gross Room on the 3rd floor. The third session, which is free for the public, is co-hosted with the LDS Church in Mill Hall and will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the LDS Church, 8 Noll Drive, Mill Hall.
