M. Carolyn Wykoff, 87, 645 ½ woods Ave., Flemington, PA died March 25, 2016 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Williamsport, PA. Born Aug. 21, 1928 in Vance, MS she was the daughter of the late Leonard L. and Era Artis Naron Mims. On Nov. 20, 1943 she married Deward M. “Pat” Wykoff who died Jan. 18, 1996.

Carolyn was a member of  Holy Spirit Parish, St. Agnes Church,  Lock Haven, PA.  Family was most important to her. She was an avid Penn State and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, enjoyed needle work, sewing, working in her garden, writing & loved music.

She is survived by four daughters,  Patsy C. (James) Randsdorf, Hawk Run, PA; Anne M. Prebble, Bellefonte,  PA; Susan E. Wykoff, Flemington, PA and Mary K. Wykoff, Bellefonte, PA, three sons,                Richard M. (Kim) Wykoff, Flemington, PA; James F. (Maria) Wykoff, Tampa, Fl and Mark C.  (Mary) Wykoff, Lamar, PA, one brother, Robert (Loucille) Mims, Vaiden, MS, thirteen grandchildren,                     Twenty two great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by,one granddaughter, Stephanie Wykoff, two sisters:  Nancy E. and Linda Sue Mims and three brothers,  Fred, Billy Gene and Benjamin Mims.

A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of M. Carolyn Wykoff will be celebrated Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 10:00 AM in Holy Spirit Parish, St. Agnes Church, Lock Haven, PA with Rev. Joseph Orr as celebrant. Interment, St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner, PA.

Friends were received Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM in the Dean K. Wetzler, Jr. Funeral Home, 320 Main St., Mill Hall, PA.   A Christian Wake Service was held at 6 PM in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital thru the funeral home.
