LHU Wrestling Hosts Spartans Friday night

cm-wrestlingLOCK HAVEN – The Lock Haven University wrestling team is set to host Michigan State on Friday at 7 p.m. in Thomas Field House.

The Bald Eagles enter the match at 7-9 overall (2-3 Eastern Wrestling League). Michigan State is 1-12 overall (1-7 Big Ten) and enters Friday’s dual coming off the Spartans’ only dual win of the season. MSU beat Northwestern on January 31, 19-15.

LHU will be looking for its first-ever win over Michigan State. Friday’s match marks the fourth all-time meeting between the two schools and MSU leads the series 3-0.

The two teams last met on December 3, 2011 and the Spartans won 30-6. Highlighting the match for LHU was Bobby Rehm, who picked up his first collegiate win in the dual, a 9-6 decision at 125 pounds.
