The Struggle Between Good and Evil

To The Editor:

In the valley there is a little personal fist fight going on, over how a man is dealing with his personal drug problems.

This amidst a scrimmage in the local area, over the health of the community threatened by a wide spread drug problem, in which “ IT” is the illegal tender in the underground economy. It has brought murder, armed robbery, fear and unrest to our town. It has caused strife, neglect and abuse among families.

This amidst a national battle of the people against the ( underpublicized) corruption in the prescription drug industry which is undermining our economy, with endless litigation, ever rising cost per pill, Insurance policies and regulations that dictate to doctors and impede their natural instincts to heal. The impact of this on our above ground economy is hard to ignore.

This is amidst the global war, about to erupt, a war over the addictions of the wealthy and powerful to the conversion of the natural resources to money. Sadly not even money you can see and touch and trade for food and shelter, but promises and deals entangled in the World Wide Web.

Which on a cosmic level is the eternal struggle between Good and Evil,

Light and Dark,
Love and indifference

So carry on my friends with courage and conviction. The victories will not be won to cheering crowds in an open field, but in the heart and mind of one person at a time.
