Thelma E. Eggler – Obituary

ObitArtThelma E. Eggler, 95, of German Rd., Lock Haven passed away Monday, December 7, 2015 at Susque View Home.

Born on September 5, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Clymer Helbley.

Thelma was married to Edward E. Eggler who preceded her in death.

Throughout her life she was employed at many places including Woolrich Woolen Mill and Piper Aircraft.   She was also a waitress at various restaurants.

Thelma attended the Swissdale United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed cooking.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by seven siblings: Catherine Reeder, Emma Probst, “Buddy” Helbley, George Helbley, Ida Shoemaker, Leona Geise, and “Mickey” Chatham.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington with the Rev. Mark Riley officiating.  Private burial will take place at Swissdale Cemetery.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
