MILL HALL — A $1.5 million water line replacement project is underway on both the north and south sides of Mill Hall. Crews from Sikora Brothers contractors of Hunlock Creek are carrying out installation of new 16-inch ductile iron pipe along Pennsylvania Avenue (photo above) and under Fishing Creek near the new Main Street bridge under construction on the south side of town. Suburban Authority chairman Jack Peters said much of the work has been funded through a state grant. He said the lines will replace outdated parts of the system which serves Lamar Township, including the Clinton County Economic Partnership business park.
