Obituary – Betty L. Rosser

Betty L. Rosser of West Palm Beach, FL went home to be with the Lord on April 11, 2025. Betty was born April 10, 1935, a daughter to Lee J. McHenry Sr. And Myrtle I. (Warner) McHenry of Farrandsville.

Betty graduated from Lock Haven High School, the class of 1953.

She was married to William (Jack) Toner, and later to William (Bill) Rosser for 48 years. This marriage moved her to Florida where she’s resided since 1974.

She worked at Clark Printing with her sister Gloria, the Lock Haven Hospital and numerous other accounting jobs until her retirement from IBMA in 2002. Because of her love of numbers and a great memory, she reminded us of every birthday and anniversary for all her family and friends.

In retirement she loved to go out for breakfast, play bingo, though she donated most of the time, and look at the Facebook postings of her loved ones. She’d watch for Rod and Kelly’s fishing and hunting trips, sometimes with Kyle as their guide. She especially enjoyed the pictures and videos from birthdays, holidays and sporting events of her grandchildren and nieces’ and nephews’ families. She looked forward to phone calls with her brother Calvin who always had her laughing, and her daughter Vickie’s daily calls.

She is survived by her brother, Calvin McHenry; her son, Rod Toner and his wife Kelly; and daughters, Vickie Laubscher and her husband Steve, and Penny Ogden. Also surviving is one grandson, Kyle Toner; two granddaughters, Patrice (Dave) Dale and Angela (Chris) Haffley; four great grandchildren; two great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She is going to meet her heavenly family: her husband, Bill; her parents; her brothers, Lee and Jerry McHenry; her sisters: Mildred Simcox, June Dullen, Dory Bressler and Gloria Keen; and her son, Craig Toner.

A Graveside Service at Cedar Hill Cemetery will be held for her family.

Memorials will be accepted to the Peoples Church of Farrandsville, c/o Carol McDermit, 174 Queens Run Rd., Lock Haven, PA 17745.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
