Obituary – Teresa C. Locke

Teresa C. Locke, 92, of Lock Haven, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Lock Haven Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Born March 31, 1932 in Avis, she was the daughter of the late Jenny and Michael Cantineri and was raised by her late grandparents, Dora and Luigi Magent.

Teresa was married to David Locke, who preceded her in death in January, 1999.

She worked in many area businesses and retired from K-Mart in Mill Hall. She was also a bookkeeper for her husband’s plumbing and heating business for many years, until his retirement.

Teresa was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, attending St. Agnes Catholic Church, Lock Haven where she was a member of the Alpine Star Lodge. She was a life member of the Lock Haven Sons of Italy Women’s Auxiliary and a faithful member of the local American Cancer Society where she volunteered in coordinating transportation for area patients receiving treatments and was highly involved in the local Daffodil Days. For over 30 years, Teresa enjoyed playing cards with her 5 other close friends, creating the “Castanea Card Club.”

She is survived by three children, Lee D. (Tina Geyer) Locke of Blanchard, H. Bill Locke of Lock Haven and Kimberly Myers of Lock Haven; three grandchildren, David Myers, Zackary Pursel and Adam Locke; two brothers, Michael and Anthony Cantineri of Corning, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, grandparents and husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Dillon M. Locke; a close sister, Mary Goodman; and several other brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745 with Rev. Fr. Joseph Orr officiating.

Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.

Private burial will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
