It’s still boot season at the Shoe Bank

LOCK HAVEN, PA — The Lock Haven Area Shoe Bank will be open by appointment Saturday, Jan. 18, inside Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven.

Eligible kids and teens from wee ones through high school seniors can choose a pair of new boots, plus a pair of new shoes, new socks, books, and warm winter accessories. Everything is free.

The 2025 dates are Jan. 18, Feb. 15, March 15, April 12, May 17, Aug. 16, Aug. 23, Sept. 20, Oct. 18, Nov. 15, and Dec. 13. Dates are subject to change.

The Shoe Bank serves families who have Compass and who live in Clinton County and the Liberty-Curtin School area.

To book your appointment, text or call Diahann at 814-571-5324, any weeknight from 7:00-9:00 p.m. If you find you cannot keep your appointment, be sure and let her know.

Funding is provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation, the M&T Bank Charitable Foundation, civic groups, churches, and individual donors.
