Lock Haven Man Charged with Sexually Assaulting Woman with Intellectual Disability
LOCK HAVEN— William Alfred Willits, III, 40, of Hillside Drive in Lock Haven, faces charges filed by Woodward Township Police for Rape of a Victim with a Mental Disability (F1), Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Victim with a Mental Disability (F2), and Sexual Assault (F2) for a pair of alleged sexual assaults committed in August 2024 at his residence.
Police allege that Willits engaged in sexual intercourse on at least two occasions with an 18-year-old woman who has a long and documented history of severe intellectual and developmental disabilities. Willits was arraigned, and bail was originally set as unsecured. District Attorney Dave Strouse has requested a bail hearing, which has been scheduled for Monday, December 9, 2024, at the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas.
