Motor Vehicle Accident
MILL HALL— On October 21, 2024, at 7:39 a.m., a crash occurred as 21-year-old Cassandra Robertson from Chantilly, VA, was driving north on N. Water Street (SR-64) in Mill Hall Borough. Robertson tried to turn left onto W. Peale Avenue but entered the lane of 42-year-old Courtney Burkey from Mill Hall, who was driving south. Burkey couldn’t avoid the collision and hit Robertson’s Honda CRV. After the collision, Robertson’s vehicle spun in a clockwise direction, and the driver’s side rear quarter panel hit the front driver side of a Thomas Built school bus driven by 62-year-old Robert Harer from Jersey Shore, which was stopped at a stop sign. Robertson’s vehicle continued for about 10 feet before coming to a stop facing northwest. Meanwhile, both Burkey and Harer’s vehicles remained at the places where they were hit. No occupants of any of the involved vehicles reported any injuries as a result of the crash.

DUI
LOCK HAVEN— On October 20, 2024, at approximately 2:46 a.m., PSP Lamar initiated a traffic stop on N. Jay Street for multiple traffic violations. Upon investigation, it was discovered that the driver, a 22-year-old male from Williamsport, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Chemical testing was consented to, and criminal charges are pending toxicology results.

Motor Vehicle Accident
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On October 20, 2024, an unidentified driver was traveling north on US-220 in the left lane, near mile marker 119.6, at a speed of 67 mph. A deer suddenly entered the lane, prompting the driver to brake in an attempt to avoid a collision, but was unsuccessful. The driver hit the deer head-on, resulting in minor cosmetic damage to the vehicle’s grille, where deer hair was later discovered due to the impact. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and did not sustain any injuries in the crash.

DUI Crash
NOYES TOWNSHIP— On October 19, 2024, at approximately 2:30 a.m., PSP Lamar investigated a crash on Grugan Hollow Road near Crabapple Run Road. According to the police report, an unidentified driver traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree. Troopers stated that the driver was under the influence of alcoholic beverages and marijuana at the time of the crash, and no further information was included in the report.

DUI
NOYES TOWNSHIP— On October 19, 2024, a crash occurred involving 30-year-old Joshua Schreffler from Fleetwood, PA, as he was driving east on Grugan Hollow Road. For reasons unknown, Schreffler veered off the left side of the road and collided with a tree. After the accident, he left the scene. His Chevrolet Silverado suffered disabling damage to the front end. Following an investigation, police discovered that Schreffler was under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance at the time of the crash.

Theft
NOYES TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Gratzmar Avenue on October 18, 2024, for a report of theft from a 74-year-old male from Renovo. This investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Accident
CRAWFORD TOWNSHIP— On October 18, 2024, at 1:13 p.m., a collision occurred between two vehicles driven by unidentified individuals. The incident happened on Rauchtown Road in the 3200 Block. Before the collision, a Dodge Ram was traveling north at 10 mph, while a T300 Kenworth box truck was also heading north at 5 mph with its hazard lights on, preparing to stop for a fuel delivery. The collision occurred when the Dodge Ram tried to overtake the Kenworth on the left but did not leave enough space, resulting in the Dodge Ram hitting the Kenworth at its front passenger side, causing moderate cosmetic damage to that area, police say. The Kenworth sustained minor damage to its rear. Both drivers reported that they were wearing seatbelts and were not injured. The driver of the Dodge Ram was issued a citation and a written warning as a result of the incident.

GREENE TOWNSHIP— On October 18, 2024, at 5:55 a.m., PSP Lamar reported to Nicholas Meat, LLC, at 508 E. Valley Road, in response to a report of an employee altercation. After investigating, it was found that a physical altercation had taken place involving Jeanel Edmond, 34, of Lock Haven, Jose Rivas, 28, of Northumberland, and Paul Jaquez, 36, of Lock Haven. As a result, all involved individuals were charged with Harassment/Physical Contact.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On October 17, 2024, at approximately 4:12 p.m., PSP Lamar was called to 122 Beagle Road for a reported domestic violence incident. Following their investigation, troopers found that both parties involved—a 60-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both from Mill Hall—had engaged in physical contact with each other. As a result, they were both arrested for harassment.

CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On October 17, 2024, at 9:17 p.m., a crash occurred when an unnamed driver of a Subaru Crosstrek was traveling south on US-220 near mile marker 112.6 and struck a deer. The Subaru sustained minor damage to the front end, and no injuries were reported.

Hit and Run
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On October 17, 2024, at 8:41 a.m., a hit-and-run crash was reported when an unidentified driver of a tractor-trailer struck a Nissan Rogue in the left lane on I-80 West and continued on its course of travel. According to the report, the tractor-trailer struck the Nissan Rogue’s front passenger side hood and bumper, which caused a flat tire. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash, and PSP Lamar Troopers are asking anyone with any information related to this incident to contact the Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000.

Drug Possession
CASTANEA TOWNSHIP— On October 17, 2024, at approximately 5:52 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to 200 E. Keller Street for a reported disturbance. Upon investigation, Troopers determined that Barbara Hummer, 56, from Lock Haven, was under the influence of methamphetamine. A small amount of methamphetamine was also located at the residence, according to the report. Criminal charges will be filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Child Endangerment
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 17, 2024, at 6:30 p.m., PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Whitetail Circle and investigated a report involving Endangering the Welfare of a Child. The investigation revealed that the claims were unfounded, and no further action was taken.

Harassment w/Physical Contact
MILL HALL— On October 16, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers were dispatched to Main Street in Mill Gall for an inactive domestic incident. On scene, the victim stated that a verbal argument turned physical when Michael Peck, 29, from Mill Hall, grabbed her by the throat and pushed her away. Peck fled the scene prior to the arrival of police. A harassment citation was filed against Peck as a result of the incident.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar was dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall on October 16, 2024, for a report of retail theft. Through investigation, it was determined that an unnamed 64-year-old male from Lock Haven stole Pokemon trading cards valued at $121.70 and was consequently taken into custody. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

LOGANTON— On October 15, 2024, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., PSP Lamar investigated an incident involving a 6-year-old child that occurred on E. Main Street. The report was determined to be unfounded after investigation.

Theft
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 15, 2024, PSP Lamar was called to Hogan Boulevard following a report of stolen fishing gear, including two fishing rods and a backpack containing fishing lures. The items had been left unattended on the sidewalk near the bridge columns for about 30 minutes. The 14-year-old victim placed the fishing equipment there at around 9:45 a.m. and found it missing upon returning at approximately 10:15 a.m. The stolen items include a black Shakespeare Tidewater spinning rod, a black and blue Shakespeare Reverb spinning rod, and a black L.L. Bean backpack. A neighborhood canvass was conducted but yielded negative results. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to call the PSP Lamar Barracks at 570-726-6000.

Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 15, 2024, a two-vehicle crash occurred on Hogan Boulevard near Mill Hall Road. Nathaniel Hosley, 69, from Mill Hall, was stopped behind a line of cars halted by a red light at the upcoming intersection. His Lincoln Navigator was not entirely within the left turning lane, with its rear extending into the middle of the three lanes. Cora Bechdel, 62, from Howard, was driving west on Hogan Boulevard and rear-ended Hosley’s vehicle. This resulted in minor damage to her Ford Escape and disabling damage to Hosley’s Lincoln Navigator. No injuries were reported due to the crash, and both drivers were wearing seatbelts.

FLEMINGTON— On October 15, 2024, at 6:48 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to Sturdevant Street for a report of a domestic dispute. Through investigation, it was determined that a 17-year-old male from Lock Haven “kicked/pushed” a 54-year-old female victim multiple times, causing her to fall to the floor. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Carrying Firearm/Concealed
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 14, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to the Flying J Travel Center at 5609 Nittany Valley Drive for a request to speak with a Trooper. Upon further investigation, Aubrey McCoy, 25, from Las Vegas, NV, was arrested for firearms not to be carried without a license. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Hit and Run
AVIS— On October 13, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers responded to a hit-and-run incident at 111 E. Central Avenue. At approximately 8:00 p.m., an unidentified driver veered off the south side of E. Central Avenue, hitting a utility pole before driving through the yard at 111 E. Central Avenue and striking a post with an address sign. The driver then returned to the highway and fled the scene. Investigators found silver/grey paint on the utility pole, along with a silver hub cap and tow mirror at the site, both of which are believed to belong to a Dodge Ram 2500 Dually pickup truck. Drug Possession
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 11, 2024, PSP Lamar Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2015 BMW after observing traffic violations on I-80 West. According to the report, multiple indicators of criminal activity were observed. Troopers requested consent to search the vehicle, and their request was granted. The search led to the discovery of a large amount of suspected marijuana and oxycodone. Trooper Hall is continuing to investigate the matter.

LAMAR TOWNSHIP— A crash occurred on I-80 East at mile marker 180 on October 10, 2024. According to the report, an unnamed/unidentified driver was in the far left lane behind a tractor-trailer, and both were trying to pass another tractor-trailer that was “driving erratically”. The erratic tractor-trailer did not stay in its lane, prompting the unidentified driver to take “evasive” action, which led to the vehicle hitting a guide rail and sustaining minor damage. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

LEIDY TOWNSHIP— On October 9, 2024, a crash occurred near 7020 Kettle Creek Road south of Calhoun Lane in Leidy Township. Kenneth Anderson III, 30, from Lock Haven, failed to negotiate a right turn, left his lane of travel, crossed over the center line of the roadway, and struck a Chevrolet Silverado driven by Kevin Wentzel, 64, from Lebanon, PA. After impact, Wentzel’s vehicle spun approximately 90 degrees before coming to a final stop facing northeast, while Anderson’s vehicle came to a final stop facing north. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage, and no injuries were reported.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 9, 2024, at 2:28 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to an incident on Hogan Boulevard where a Nissan Altima struck a curb, then hit another curb, and ultimately became disabled at the entrance of Tractor Supply Co. Both occupants of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and were taken to UPMC Lock Haven Emergency Department by EMS.

Found Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 9, 2024, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a tax refund check was located in the Sheetz parking lot on Hogan Boulevard. Anyone with information is asked to contact the PSP Lamar Barracks by calling 570-726-6000.

Commercial Burglary
CASTANEA— PSP Lamar is investigating a burglary that occurred on October 8, 2024, between 4:33 a.m. and 5:34 a.m. at the Castanea Social Hall, 300 S. Hanna Street. Anyone with information related to this incident is asked to contact Trooper Hall by calling the PSP Lamar Barracks at 570-726-6000.

Motor Vehicle Accident
PORTER TOWNSHIP— On October 7, 2024, at approximately 11:03 a.m., a two-vehicle crash occurred on Nittany Valley Drive near its intersection with Dotterers Road. The crash occurred as Charles Mosser Jr., 61, from Beech Creek, had a green light and proceeded left from Dotterers Road onto Nittany Valley Drive in a 2020 Terex DIV Advance Mixer. Mosser was traveling at approximately 10 mph on Nittany Valley Drive when he was rear-ended by Curt Myers, 66, from Mill Hall. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

Assault w/Weapon
MILL HALL— On October 7, 2024, an assault took place on Girard Street involving a 28-year-old female from Lock Haven and a 31-year-old female from Mill Hall. According to the report, one female, while wielding a metal Carabiner clip on her hand in a similar fashion as someone using brass knuckles, punched the other female in the head. The victim was treated for head injuries at UPMC Lock Haven. Charges were filed on the 28-year-old female actor through District Court 25-3-02.

Residential Burglary
NOYES TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar responded to an unidentified residence on the Renovo Road for a suspected burglary that occurred sometime between September 21 and October 6, 2024. Unknown actor(s) entered the seasonal residence through the back door and, once inside, stole various items totaling $120. This investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Lamar by calling 570-726-6000.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 6, 2024, PSP Lamar was dispatched to Walmart in Mill Hall for a report of retail theft. After investigation, Noah Willoughby, 18, from Buffalo, NY, was taken into custody for theft of miscellaneous items totaling $61.48. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar Troopers responded to Walmart in Mill Hall for a reported retail theft on October 3, 2024. Through investigation, it was determined that Marena Paulino, 19, from Slatington, PA, attempted to steal six items from Walmart that totaled $38.39. Appropriate citations were filed through District Court 25-3-02.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On October 2, 2024, PSP Lamar investigated a Childline Referral pertaining to harassment that occurred near Albright Lane. The incident was investigated and deemed to be unfounded.

DUI
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On September 30, 2024, at 9:09 p.m., A traffic stop was conducted in the 200 block of Hogan Boulevard for a vehicle code violation. According to the report, signs of impairment were evident, and the driver, Mark Mardis, 68, from Mill Hall, was taken into custody for the suspicion of DUI-alcohol. This incident is currently under investigation.

MILL HALL BOROUGH— On September 23, 2024, a registered nurse at the Jersey Shore Hospital contacted PSP Lamar to report that a 21-year-old female was afraid to return home due to problems with her parents. No further information was included in the report.

Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On September 20, 2024, a 75-year-old female from Howard used a self-checkout lane at Walmart in Mill Hall and opted for $100 cash back. The victim mistakenly left the money in the machine, and the following customer/suspect stole it, having made no attempts to return it. Retail Theft/Shoplifting
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— Between August 4 and September 19, 2024, Christie Baslick, 52, from Loganton, allegedly committed eight retail thefts totaling $419.96 at Weis Markets in Mill Hall. Charges were filed through District Court 25-3-02 for Retail Theft and related offenses.

Motor Vehicle Accident
PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP— On September 19, 2024, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Raymond Bower Jr., 60, from Lock Haven, parked his Hyundai Accent on the wrong side of the road to deliver mail. Upon noticing an approaching vehicle, Bower attempted to quickly get back into his car. Jamie Williamson, 37, from Woolrich, was driving a Subaru Outback and tried to pass by Bower but struck the open door of Bower’s car. The door hit Bower, causing him to sustain shoulder injuries, and he was transported to Jersey Shore Hospital for treatment.

DUI
WAYNE TOWNSHIP— On September 15, 2024, at 11:39 p.m., PSP Lamar responded to a vehicle that was stuck on the train tracks located at 6 Railroad Lane in Wayne Township. Investigation revealed that the driver, Matthew Crow, 40, from Lock Haven, was under the influence of alcohol. Appropriate charges were filed through District Court 25-3-01.

Theft of Scrap Metal
RENOVO— PSP Lamar received a report of stolen copper metal pipes and wires from an abandoned residence on Ontario Avenue that is believed to have occurred sometime between August 12 and September 4, 2024. This investigation is ongoing.

Hit and Run
BEECH CREEK TOWNSHIP— On August 25, 2024, Jeremy Miller, 45, from Blanchard, was involved in a crash while driving west on Eagle Valley Road in the 1300 block. Miller veered into the opposing lane and onto the south berm, hitting a pole with his driver-side mirror. He continued west, leaving the road and entering a grassy area where he struck another utility pole with the front passenger side of his Toyota Tundra, breaking the pole in half and causing a power outage for some residents. Miller then drove about 100 feet into a soybean field before returning to the road and leaving the scene without reporting the incident. On September 1, 2024, Trooper Bowers contacted Miller at his home in Blanchard. According to the report, Miller admitted to driving his white Toyota Tundra when the crash occurred and said he didn’t think he needed to report it. An inspection of the truck showed damage consistent with the scene, although Miller claimed he lost control when he hit a deer. However, there was no evidence of deer fur or a collision with a deer on the vehicle. No further information was included in the report.

Simple Harassment
GALLAGHER TOWNSHIP— On September 1, 2024, at approximately 11:45 a.m., PSP Lamar responded to a report of a domestic incident occurring at the residence located at 36 Eagle Hollow Road, Apartment 4. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a 32-year-old male from Lock Haven grabbed hold of a metal tree climbing boot attachment and threw it behind him during a verbal argument. The attachment struck an eight-year-old child in the shoulder, causing injury. The accused was taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility as a result of the incident.

Motor Vehicle Accident
GREENE TOWNSHIP—On August 31, 2024, Michael Wodarski, 25, from Detroit, MI, was involved in a crash while driving at approximately 124 mph when he attempted to pass a tractor-trailer on the left berm of I-80 West. After passing the truck and re-entering the road, Wodarski lost control of his 2017 Cadillac CTS, veering across the left lane, then the right lane, and eventually hit the guardrail. The car went over the guardrail, became airborne, flipped onto its roof, and continued down an embankment, coming to a final rest upright about 50 yards away. Though temporarily trapped in the vehicle, Wodarski managed to free himself without mechanical means. He sustained significant facial injuries and was transported to a hospital by ambulance.

Indecent Assault
LOGAN TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar responded to Summer Mountain Road for a report of child abuse that occurred sometime between August 1 and August 15, 2024. This investigation is ongoing.

Motor Vehicle Accident
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— On August 14, 2024, a crash occurred as Jasmine Monheim, 25, from Loganton, was traveling on US-220 north in a Chevrolet Aveo when a deer appeared on the roadway. Monheim swerved from her lane and lost control of her vehicle, causing her to cross the right lane and exit the roadway. Monheim’s vehicle flipped and came to a final rest on the side of the road. According to the report, the entirety of the vehicle sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Criminal Mischief
MILL HALL— On August 1, 2024, troopers from PSP Lamar responded to a report of trespassing on E. Arch Street. Upon arrival at the scene, they determined that four juveniles had been at the property and had kicked in the door of a shed. The victim stated that he only wanted the damage to be compensated. After the damage was paid for, it was decided that no charges would be filed.

Motor Vehicle Accident
LAMAR TOWNSHIP— On August 1, 2024, Kolton Parker, 23, from Lock Haven, was involved in a crash while driving east on SR-664. When a deer entered the roadway, Parker failed to negotiate a left-hand curve, resulting in his vehicle continuing straight and hitting a tree off the south side of the road. The car then went down an embankment and came to a stop, partially submerged in a stream. The 2005 Honda Civic Parker was driving sustained disabling damage to the front end and had to be towed away via a personal tow. No injuries were reported as a result of the crash.

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP— PSP Lamar took a report of an incident involving harassment that took place sometime between December 31, 2003, and January 1, 2004, at the Bald Eagle Boys Camp on Wilderness Trail. According to the report, the investigation has since been closed.
