Renovo Youth Gain Confidence and Skills in Fall Swim Lessons

RENOVO – The Western Clinton County Recreation Center in Renovo recently held swimming lessons in September and October for children ages 3 to 10.

The young swimmers made impressive progress, with many going from using life jackets and being afraid to venture into the deeper parts of the pool to swimming confidently. The lessons not only helped the kids develop their swimming skills but also boosted their confidence in the water.

On the final day, participants received certificates. Pictured are lifeguard Leon Mathews, swimmers Andrew Kramer, Genevieve Fantaskey, Emerson O’Brien, Declan Whitty, and instructor Cayla Bob. Colby Paloskey, the youngest swimmer at age 3, is also shown.

The Recreation Center hopes to offer more lessons in the future.
