Waterville Apple Butter Festival Draws Crowds, Sells Over 900 Apple Dumplings

The Annual Waterville Apple Butter Festival occurred over the weekend at the Waterville Volunteer Fire Company. This popular annual event sold out of over 900 apple dumplings on Saturday. Over 9,000 pounds of apples were estimated to have been peeled and processed for apple butter and apple dumplings.

Record reporter Christopher Miller offered a firefighter momentary relief as he worked to stir the apples to keep them from boiling over and burning in the bottom of the copper kettle.
