Central Mountain Boys Cross Country Team Continues to Improve at PHAC Championships
SUNBURY-The Central Mountain boys cross country team continues to improve as they finished 5th at the 2024 PHAC Championships held at Shikellamy High School. Lewisburg took home the team title. Leading the way for the Wildcats was Junior Damien Winner finishing in 10th place in a new PR time of 16:53.60. Sam Wible ran another solid race finishing in 17th in a time of 17:25. Riley Gonzales had a huge PR today finishing in 32nd place in 18:22. Freshman Xian Deems continues to figure out the 5K distance has he hit another PR in 19:22. In the JV race, the Wildcats had 2 top 15 finishes by Jaxon Hardy (8th) in a PR time of 20:17 and Cody Etters (15th) in 20:48. Brayden Bird picked up another PR finishing in 21:37. The Wildcats will turn their focus to the PIAA District 6 Championships held at Indian Valley Elementary on October 26th at 9:30.
