Central Mountain Girls Cross Country Team Makes Strides at PHAC Championships

SUNBURY-The Central Mountain girls cross country team had another good showing today as they competed at the 2024 PHAC Championships held at Shikellamy High School.  The girls finished 5th, up 2 spots from last year, out of 15 teams.  The returning AA State Champions from Danville took home the title.  Grace Keohane improved on last years PHAC Championships as she led the way for the Wildcats finishing in 10th place in 20:24.  Aubrey Eiler had another great race as she was the second Wildcat to finish (31st) in a time of 22:48, just missing another PR.  The girls will now have 2 weeks to prepare for the PIAA District 6 Championships held at Indian Valley Elementary on October 26th at 9:00.
