Selinsgrove Edges Central Mountain in Conference Clash
MILL HALL-The Central Mountain boys soccer team hosted Selinsgrove Tuesday night and put on their best performance of the season despite falling short. Selinsgrove managed only two shots on goal throughout the match, but they made both count, securing a narrow victory.
Central Mountain played exceptionally well in both halves, demonstrating strong defensive work and offensive pressure. However, it wasn’t enough to overcome Selinsgrove’s efficiency in front of goal. Despite the loss, the Wildcats remain optimistic as they look ahead to their next conference battle.
The Wildcats will aim to bounce back Thursday night when they host Williamsport at Malinak Stadium. The JV game kicks off at 5:30 p.m., followed by Varsity at 7:00 p.m. Thursday nights game will be live streamed on therecord-online.com.
In JV action, Central Mountain secured another victory in a 9v9 game with shortened halves, marking their third win of the season. The team continues to impress as they build momentum.
