Sharing the Love …

MONTOURSVILLE – U.S. servicemen and women abroad will benefit from a check presentation from Alexander Subaru to Marine Corps League 388, Williamsport Detachment. Dealership employees presented a check for $20,723 to the detachment headed by Robert L. Mosley Sr., left. Third from left is Alexander Subaru general manager Dave Kelley who said the money was generated through Subaru’s ‘Share the Love’ event representing a portion of proceeds from new car sales for a recent two month period. Mosley said the money will be used to purchase items that can be used by troops in Afghanistan and elsewhere. Members of the detachment told of delivering a trailer load of supplies to wounded troops at Walter Reed Hospital in Washington. The detachment is currently seeking names and addresses of soldiers overseas to assist. Record photo – John Lipez
