Memorial Day Services to Honor Veterans in Renovo Area
This Sunday morning, the Renovo area will come together to honor their fallen veterans with a series of Memorial Day services at cemeteries and monuments throughout the region. Prayers, salutes, and the poignant notes of “TAPS” will be performed at ten different sites as the community pays tribute to those who served their country.
Western Clinton County veterans will be joined by members of Sons of The American Legion Post 442 and the Legion’s auxiliary members in these solemn dedications. This annual tradition underscores the deep respect and gratitude felt for the sacrifices made by the men and women in uniform.
The schedule for the services is as follows:
- Lower Hyner: 9:00 a.m.
- Hyner Catholic: 9:15 a.m.
- North Bend Firehall: 9:30 a.m.
- Keller Darby Memorial: 9:40 a.m.
- North Bend Cemetery: 9:50 a.m.
- Fairview Cemetery: 10:00 a.m.
- Break at American Legion #0442
- Tank 16th Street: 10:30 a.m.
- South Renovo Memorial: 10:45 a.m.
- Center of Carmen R. Rosamilia Bridge: 11:00 a.m.
- Drurys Run: 11:15 a.m.
These services provide an opportunity for the community to come together, reflect, and show their appreciation for those who have given their lives in service to the nation.
