Bridge Over Little Fishing Creek to Close for Core Boring

CLEAFIELD– The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a bridge spanning Little Fishing Creek along Hoy Road (T-467) in Walker Township, Centre County, will close for three days from Wednesday, May 8, through Friday, May 10, for core boring. This work is part of a larger project to replace the bridge during the 2025 construction season.

As this is a single-lane bridge, it must be closed for the drilling to take place. While closed, traffic will follow a detour using Nittany Valley Drive (Route 64) and Pike Road (Route 445). The detour will only be in place during daylight hours, with the contractor reopening the bridge at the close of each workday.
