Warriors use big fourth inning to down Bucktail baseball

MORRISDALE- Bucktail knew entering their nonconference contest against District 6 powers West Branch that the Warriors would offer Bucktail very little. The Warriors would pound out 14 hits on the day, but it would ultimately be a rough fourth inning that would cost the visiting Bucks.
The Bucks jumped out to a surprising 1-0 lead in the top of the first inning, but West Branch would rally back in their half of the first inning with a pair of runs to take the lead.
West Branch would see their lead grow to 5-1 following a three-run second inning.
After the Warriors added a lone run in the bottom of the third inning, Bucktail would cross their second score their next at bat.
West Branch would storm away with seven runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to finally put the Bucks away by a 13-2 count.
Bucktail managed just two hits on the day. Singles by both Brett Mason and Gavin Pick would account for the lone Bucktail hits. Braylon Fantaski and Keller Friese found themselves on base by way of walks.
Bucktail, now 0-6 will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Sullivan County.
