District 4 AA Wrestling Pairings Released

WILLIAMSPORT-The pairings for the District 4 Class AA Tournament have been announced and the Sugar Valley Rural Charter wrestling squad will have a pair of their Phoenix trying to advance to the Northeast AA Regional Tournament, 

Phoenix senior Cameron Quick (29-6) was the District 4 Central Sectional runner-up and drew a first round bye. In the quarterfinals he will face the winner of Northern Sectional runner-up Holden Ward (31-12) of Canton and Southern Regional fourth placer Charley Paige (27-12) of Midd-West. 

The Phoenix other entry is junior Jarren McCloskey (27-10), who was the Central Sectional third place finisher and he will meet the North Sectional fourth place finisher Keegan Bagley (16-15) of Sullivan County. The winner will face South Sectional champion Max Wirnsberger (39-2) of Warrior Run in the quarterfinals. 

The times for the action on Friday and Saturday have not been released at the time of this story.
