Central PA Youth Basketball holds double header at Central Mountain

MILL HALL- The 2024 Central PA Youth Basketball is in full swing and on Saturday afternoon Central Mountain High School hosted a pair of contests on their main court.
Game 1 would see Renovo down Robb Elementary 18-13. The Renovo squad is being coached by Lady Bucks’ standout Matti Mason with Kiera Paloskey and Autumn Gavlock assisting. This was a 5th & 6th Grade girls contest.
Gemma Brauns led Renovo with 8 points and Aubrey Gentzyel added 6 points. Madison Dent and Brielle Riggle each added two points in the win.
Addyson Peters led Robb with a game-high 11 points.
Game number two would pit Renovo against Mill Hall/Liberty Curtain in 3rd & 4th grade action.
Mill Hall/Liberty Curtain would come away with the victory 28-6 behind a big game from Josey McCann and her 16 points. Madalyn Hendershot and Jada Snyder each added 4 points, while Emma McDonald and Hannah Westebaun each added 2 points.
Renovo was led by Audrine Tarantella’s 4 points and Brynne Helm’s 2 points.
Mill Hall/ Liberty Curtain is coached by Central Mountain varsity volleyball coach Chip McCann, while Chuck Probst coaches the Renovo squad.
