PIAA District 4, 6 Football Pairings Announced

WILLIAMSPORT – Jersey Shore (5-5) will be participating in the District 4 Class 4A football semi-finals Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m., hosting Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech (3-7). The Bulldogs are the No. 1 seed, the Rams No. 4. The two teams did not meet in the regular season. CMVT split two games with Bucktail High School this past season. CMVT qualified for the playoffs when Shikellamy High School, which finished the season as the fourth seed, elected not to participate in the postseason.

Other area teams in the post-season and their opponents include in District 6:

Class 6A – No. 1 State College (9-1) hosting Mifflin County (6-4) Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

Class 4A – No. 2 Bellefonte (8-2) playing No. 3 Bradford (6-4) at Bald Eagle Area, Saturday, Nov. 3 at 5 p.m.

Class 3A – No. 1 Bald Eagle Area (8-2) hosting No. 4 Huntingdon (5-5), Friday, Nov. 2 at 7 p.m.

Class 2A – No. 4 Penns Valley (7-3) hosting No. 5 Southern Huntingdon (7-3), Saturday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.
