Buck Playoff Set for Montgomery Friday Night

FARWELL – It’s official. Bucktail High School will make its first playoff appearance since 2012 when the Bucks visit Montgomery Friday night, Nov. 3, game time 7 o’clock.

Bucktail athletic officials attended a District 4 meeting in Williamsport on Monday where brackets were announced. Montgomery finished 5-5 and earned the Class A No. 2 seed while the Bucks ended up the regular season at 4-6, earning a No. 3 seed.

Bucktail athletic assistant Jack Hanobic said there will be no pre-sale of game tickets. Cost at the gate will be $4 for students and $6 for adults. A number of prohibitions for those attending the game were also circulated to participating schools: Both the presence and use of balloons, towels, sirens, whistles and portable listening devices (without earphones) are prohibited. Small portable listening devices with earphones and stationary banners and signs, which are sportsmanlike in their message, are permitted.
