Four Wildcats are PHAC All-Stars

cm-basketballBALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Pennsylvania Heartland Athletic Conference has released the basketball all-star selections for the 2016-17 season with four Central Mountain players making the cut for league honors.

Brody Baker and Kyle Everhart both received first team honors while Justin Neff was selected to the second team, all in the PHAC Division I.

The lone Lady Wildcat to make the PHAC Div. I list was senior, Averie Pringle who received second team honors for her efforts.

Everhart played in 22 games for the ‘Cats this season scoring 327 points thus far for Central Mountain. Everhart averaged 14.9 points per game hitting 45% from the floor, and was 60 of 140 from outside the arc for a 43% average. Everhart was also solid from the penalty stripe hitting 87% of his free throw attempts.

Neff only played in 20 games for CM as he recovered from a football injury early in the season. Neff soon got up to speed for the Wildcats scoring 176 points for 8.9 average per game. Neff hit 54% of his shots from the field and 44% from the foul line and averaged just under 5 rebounds per game for the ‘Cats.

Baker has played in all 24 games for the Wildcats averaging 7.6 points per game totaling 273 points so far this season. Baker hit 40% from the field including 44 0f 112 three-point attempts for a 39% success rate and excelled at the foul line hitting 63%.

Pringle tallied 154 points in 21 games for the Lady Wildcats on the year averaging 7.3 points per game hitting 45% from the field. Pringle was also the leading scorer in the Lady ‘Cats lone win on the season with 24 points and nailed 54% of her free throws on the season.
