Huge turnout for KCSD/LH Homecoming Parade

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Downtown Lock Haven was the place to be Thursday evening as the Keystone Central School District and Commonwealth University – Lock Haven staged their annual joint homecoming parade. The theme this year was Night at the Movies.

Dozens of schools and organizations had entries in the parade. Judges awarded the top prize to two schools, Renovo Elementary with a Wizard of Oz theme, and Woodward Elementary, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Second place went to the Central Mountain girls’ soccer team with its Barbie theme and third was awarded to Liberty-Curtin Elementary for its 101 Dalmatians entry.

The annual event is aimed to celebrate the Bucktail, Central Mountain and LH school spirit together. The evening concluded with a pep rally at the Lock Haven East Campus gym, the former Lock Haven High School gym.
