Keystone Juniors bop East Lycoming, 13-1
MONTOURSVILLE, PA – The Keystone Junior Little League team kept its season alive with a 14-1, five-inning thrashing of East Lycoming in a Friday evening elimination game at Reed Field in Hughesville.
With the game scoreless after one, Keystone exploded for nine runs in the top of the second and coasted home. The victory puts Keystone in the elimination bracket final on Monday at Montgomery, the opponent to be determined.
Hayes Donley slugged a Keystone homerun, Kyler Dale had a couple singles, Caleb Stitzer with a double. Singles came from Brody Swanger, Mason Masorti, Kai Fravel, Kyle Everett and Kole Corman.
Corman and Fravel combined on a one-hitter, striking out five East Lycoming batters.
