Lock Haven City Beach shut down
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The city beach off Grove Street has been shut down to swimmers. Lock Haven government posted that word on June 15.
The posting reads “No swimming due to water quality per the Department of Health and the City of Lock Haven.”
No additional information could be found on the city website and City Hall was closed on Saturday. There were a few swimmers in the Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon, despite additional signage which says no swimming allowed when there are no lifeguards on duty.
