Renovo area teen-ager charged in bow and arrow incident
RENOVO, PA – A reported homeless teen-ager has been arrested and faces multiple charges for allegedly shooting an arrow into a 7th Street, Renovo home on the night of May 8.
Renovo borough police have charged Wayne L. Hackenberg, Jr, 18, with recklessly endangering another, possession of an instrument of crime, loitering and prowling at nighttime, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief.
Police said the incident occurred between 9:30 and 10:30 p.m. Hackenberg is alleged to have shot an arrow through a bedroom window, the arrow lodging in a wall. Police said a search warrant was issued for a different location and the bow and arrow were seized, as well as other arrows discarded in a different location.
Police said Hackenberg was arraigned and committed to the Clinton County Correctional Facility in default of $15,000 bail.
