KCSD student employee partnership program sees massive growth

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – In four years the Keystone Central School District has seen unparalleled growth in its Diversified Occupations and Cooperative Work Programs for students

As part of her report at last night’s Keystone Central School Board meeting, Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin recognized KCSD Career and Technical Director Kurt Lynch and teacher Daci Killinger for their leadership of the Diversified Occupations and Cooperative Work Programs. She offered statistics showing that over the past school year 86 Career and Technology School students have earned a total of 594 Industry Certifications in Employability Skills, Human Resources, and OSHA 10-hour Safety Certification.

The superintendent noted that four years ago when the program was re-activated, the district had three business partners and as of this school year, the district has had over 86 employer partnerships. She recognized those who worked with district students this year:
