Central Mountain tennis downs Seals twice in road double-header
SELINSGROVE, PA – The Central Mountain boys’ tennis team made its Thursday trip to Selinsgrove a successful one, downing the home court Seals not once but twice. The scores were 4-1 and 3-2 and coach Jeff Brinker noted that every team member who made the trip got to participate in at least one of the matches.
The Wildcats are not done yet. They are scheduled to host Shikellamy in a District 6-4 team quarterfinal playoff on Monday at 4 p.m. at the Gibson Tennis Complex. The Wildcats are the #4 seed, the Braves #5. The winner travels to State College on Tuesday of next week to take on the top-seeded Little Lions in a semifinal match.
