14- and 13-year-olds charged with drug possession at school

LOGANTON, PA – Lamar state police have cited a 14-year-old female from Jersey Shore and a 13-year-old-female from Mill Hall with drug possession after an April 27 incident at the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School.

Police said they responded to a suspected drug overdose on that date and through their investigation it was learned two juvenile students were in possession of a THC vape pen. Police said a written allegation was prepared for both students charging them with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
