Desiree Myers new county chief clerk

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Clinton County has a new Chief Clerk. The county commissioners at their Thursday meeting approved Desiree Myers, most recently the county’s Human Resources director. She will replace present Chief Clerk Jann Meyers who had confirmed her plans to step down in February.

The new chief clerk’s hire will be effective April 17. She is expected to work with the current chief clerk until Meyers’ departure in June.

Myers, a Clinton County resident, had been employed in human relations with the Williamsport Area School District before accepting the human resources position in Clinton County in January. Her pay as chief clerk will be $57,139 annually.
Outgoing chief clerk Meyers spoke glowingly of the incoming clerk, lauding her work in the human relations office since the start of the new year. She said Myers will do equally well as the new chief clerk.
