Obituary
Irma R. (Whitman) Clemente, 91, of Renovo, died Thursday, March 9, 2023 at UPMC Susquehanna in Williamsport where she was a patient for 5 days.
Born Sept., 23, 1931 in Renovo, she was a daughter of the late David and Stella (Gyurina) Whitman.
Irma was married to Patrick C. Clemente who died Oct., 22, 1983.
She worked at the Renovo Shirt Factory, Piper Aircraft and the YMCA Restaurant as a waitress.
Irma was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Renovo. She was a graduate of Renovo High School. She enjoyed reading and visiting the Renovo Public Library.
She loved socializing with her family and friends and having a glass of wine with them on her front porch.
Irma was a volunteer at Bucktail Medical Center and was awarded for 500 hours of service.
Surviving are two sons; Thomas J. Clemente of Lock Haven and Patrick (Marsha) Clemente of Hyner and a daughter, Lisa R. (David) Kepler of Weston Mills, NY and four grandchildren, Joshua, Tiffany, Darik and Danny and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by several great nieces and cousins.
Irma was the youngest of 10 children and she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters and a granddaughter Maggie Lee Clemente in 2013.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
