For the first five minutes of the third quarter, the Bald Eagles controlled the game, pushing an 11-3 run that was bolstered by seven points from Alana Robinson (Rockaway, N.J./Pope John Paul II), to close the gap to just 31-25. With six points from Brooke Lawyer (Hanover, Pa./Delone Catholic), LHU trimmed the lead down to just four, and the host leading 36-32 at the end of the third quarter.

To start the final quarter, the Huskies swished the first four of five baskets to take a 44-36 lead, but Lawyer responded explosively with seven points in just 86 seconds, to reach within three points.

In the final minutes, the Bald Eagles closed the lead to just two, 45-43, and after a five second violation, Robinson sent her final basket in with 18 seconds to tie it up, but a Bloomsburg three-pointer with five seconds to play delivered the game winning shot for the Huskies to win the tightly contested conference clash, 48-45.
