KCSD sets public question and answer session on district business privilege tax

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – There was some discussion at the Keystone Central School Board January voting session about the district’s business privilege tax; where it was noted there is much confusion and misunderstanding about the tax.
In response Nicholas Grimes, the district’s Tax Office Supervisor, has created a “frequently asked questions” printout to help the community better understand the district’s business privilege tax, one on the books within the district for better than 50 years.
The district has also announced that there will be an information session on the tax, to be held on Tuesday, March 7 in the school district’s board room in the district’s administration wing at the Central Mountain High School complex.
